We are excited to announce that Dr Emily Sullivan, an expert at the intersection of the philosophy of science and machine learning, will be joining the University of Edinburgh in August 2025 as Senior Lecturer in the Philosophy of Technology.

At the University of Edinburgh, Centre-affiliated faculty deliver innovative courses that introduce students to the ethics of data and AI, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
As a part of the Baillie Gifford Programme, the Centre delivers weekly mentoring activities to the Baillie Gifford PhD students and postdoctoral community.
