Jamie’s Journey: Ethics, AI, and Healthcare Decision-Making
Jamie Webb’s research explores the ethical challenges of using machine learning in healthcare resource allocation—examining how decisions are made when critical treatments are in short supply. With a background in bioethics, Jamie sought to bridge philosophy with real-world impact, conducting in-depth interviews with patients and healthcare professionals. Supported by the Centre for Technomoral Futures, Jamie has developed interdisciplinary expertise and contributed to important discussions on AI in medicine.
